Friday's Logic - Downton Abbey and Hexies

Downton Abbey, Hexies and Logic?  Are you wondering how they are connected??
Well, here goes...

Last night, I decided to jump aboard the Downton Abbey train and love it!
(If you are not familar with the PBS show... here is the link to the website.)

Now Fridays are my free day.  Free from the hubs, the kids and my job.  Therefore, logically, I decided to watch as many episodes I could
AND
 work on my Hexy MF.
I'm just one of those people that can't waste daylight hours watching tv.

As proof of my hand work, here is my stack of flowers, with my small stack of  remaining Hexies.

Then because the stars were align and the cosmic universe wanted to support my television for a day habit....
the postman came!

AND

he delivered Get Your Hex On Queen Bee's February block package
AND... if that wasn't enough

he also delivered my order of
Sewline Glue Pens!

I have been watching some hexy tutorials, lately, on how wonderful this glue pen is and it being so much faster than basting with needle and thread.  Since I was part of a Hex Bee, I thought perhaps it best if I found a quicker way to do this... so I thought I would give them a whirl.

Within in 5-10 minutes I had these completed.

At this time, I recommend this method.... but will keep you posted as I continued forward with my Get Your Hex On Bee!

  1. Wow - the universe came together for you today - your day sounds wonderful. Love the hexies. I haven't tried Downton Abbey - though I read the book about the real Downton Abbey - very interesting.
